Solvay Executive Education is recruiting a new team member for its Marketing & Communication Department. The Marketing & Communication Officer's role is to help develop and implement concrete marketing and communication strategies with the scope of promoting our portfolio of executive programmes.


Solvay Executive Education's mission is to answer the life-long learning needs of managers by offering a range of diverse programmes such as Open Enrolment Programmes (incl. short seminars and executive masters), Customer Specific Programmes (fully customized for companies), Executive MBA and Advanced Masters. We cover the main management practices, from General Management to more specialized disciplines like Leadership, Digital Transformation, Finance, Innovation, Marketing…

Solvay Executive Education's activity is closely connected with Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management (SBS-EM), faculty of Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). It can be described as a medium-sized enterprise with a 20+ employee and 6+M€ in revenues.

The promotion of our executive programmes is carried out partly internally and partly in collaboration with several external agencies.


The Marketing & Communication Officer will work in the Executive Education Marketing and Communication Team and in tight collaboration with programme managers and coordinators.

As Marketing & Communication Officer, you will get the chance to strengthen the team through a broad series of objectives such as:

  • Helping with the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategic plans for all our executive programmes;
  • Serving as a liaison between communication agencies and Solvay Executive Education (but also print suppliers, freelance talents, and various marketing services);
  • Helping with the development of effective digital media tools (set up of social media campaigns, monitor the Ad Words account, investigate new digital trends and technologies, support the improvement of digital culture,…);
  • Producing marketing and communication materials (including landing pages, website content, newsletter, e-mailings, brochures and more);
  • Participating in the monitoring and evaluation of all marketing and communication actions and formulate reliable recommendations for optimisation;
  • Promoting and organizing online and offline promotional events (executive information sessions) for our portfolio of executive programmes.


  • Relevant degree in business/marketing or any other related field;
  • Proven experience using different communications techniques, social media networks, other digital tools,…
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role and/or in a relevant business environment. Practical experience in the area of digital marketing is a plus;  
  • Proficiency in English and French. All marketing actions will be in French and English. Dutch is a plus;
  • Proven experience with graphics and design editing tools;
  • Experience in the field of education is considered an asset.
