Market Development Assistant
Job Description
ADE Company supports decision-makers in formulating, monitoring, implementing and evaluating economic choices. Its main clients are international institutions and agencies, bilateral and multilateral development organizations and national public institutions (www.ade.eu ).
ADE is currently looking for a Market Development Assistant to support the Market Development Manager.
Profile
- Strong academic background (e.g. economics, business administration, ...)
- At least 3-5 years experience in a similar position or in the international development sector
- Substantial record of business success and a sound technical competence in your sector
- Experience in developing market strategies
- Experience in preparing tenders for various clients, with long/short-term experts, consortium partners and subcontractors
- Experience in design of methodologies, preparation of budget and monitoring, workplans, reporting
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts
- Knowledge of the project procurement and funding procedures of international aid agencies, including EC
- Highly success-oriented, problem-solving, troubleshooting and able to lead and develop others
- Sharp and mentally agile
- Resistant to stress and deadlines, with a high energy level
- Available for some travels to developing or EU countries
- Fluent spoken and written English and French - Other languages are an asset
Function description
- From our HQ participation in the various activities for the development of the consulting services of ADE, e.g. market surveillance, preparation of tenders, networking and establishing partnership for the development of new projects, studies and technical assistance contracts in the areas of specialization of ADE
- Management of expertise and resources networks, including databases and feedback
- Supervision and management of framework contracts acquisition
