Mostra/EuroparlTV is looking for a full-time Linguistic Coordinator to join its in-house linguistic team.

In tight collaboration with two other Linguistic Coordinators, you will be responsible for organising the translation of the EuroparlTV output into 22 languages within the deadlines set by the Planning Manager.

Daily duties include:

• assign translations to our established network of freelancers and manage timely translation return;
• liaise with translators and proofreaders to ensure best possible quality of translation, act as their first point of contact for queries and troubleshooting;
• file manipulation, file tracking and file management;
• maintain status tables tracking translation progress;
• translate and subtitle into your own language.

Skills, qualifications and requirements:

• proficiency in English, have another EU language as mother tongue and have notions of additional EU languages;
• degree in Translation or a related field;
• computer savviness and highly-developed organisational and multi-tasking skills;
• flexible in terms of working hours - one to two times a week you will be required to work a later shift;
• keen interest in the European Parliament, the European Union, its institutions and policies.

Previous relevant experience will be considered a definite plus.

We offer a full-time indefinite contract and the opportunity to participate in a very challenging project. The necessary training is provided if needed.
