Job Description
In order to support innovation in Europe, EUREKA organises international collaboration
between companies and research centres in R&D innovation and research projects.
The technological and economical quality of these projects is assessed by international
experts who have the necessary experience in the relevant technological and industrial
fields. These fields are diverse and include e.g. IT, communication, biotechnology, energy,
transport, medicine, environment, …
In order to maintain the quality of the assessment, experts need to be called upon
regularly in order to keep up with the ever changing evolution in innovation.
Job description
- Manage the assessment of projects
- Maintain and improve the international experts’ database in collaboration with the EUREKA
network
- Maintain and improve the basic criteria on which the assessment is based
- Set up and management of a quality control system for the assessments and the experts
- Communication with these international experts (conferences, training, …)
- Set up of an expert committee (Awards, Independent Evaluation Panel, …)
- Analyse the innovation market in collaboration with the R&D trends analyst
- Select projects for marketing and communication purposes to be presented as Success

Profile
- scientific engineer / Master of Science in one of above mentioned fields
- a minimum experience in industrial collaborative projects
- desire to learn and be part of a young and dynamic team
- take initiative
- interested to work in different fields
- synthetic capacities + able to write
- English as working language / another European language an asset
- Passionate by innovation / curious and open minded
- Good listener and communicator
