Sentinel International Limited, based in Malta, is a consulting company for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The company employs international experts from different European countries, and has had a close relationship with French security providers since 2007.

We are currently looking for a highly-motivated candidate to become an Junior Project Manager & Executive Assistant to our Chief Executive Officer.  The candidate MUST be already eligible to work in the European Union.

This 12-month position is an unrivalled opportunity for acquiring a vast experience of the private security sector, organization management and general business development. Upon positive performance assessment, candidate appointed to this position will be expected after at least 12 months to be moved to other responsibilities within the Organization and to reinforce Junior Managers team.

As our Junior Project Manager & Executive Assistant to our CEO at Sentinel International you will provide daily a personalized, accurate and timely support. You shall support our CEO in every aspect of company management, including but not limited to: internal and external communication, project management, assignments follow-up, policy development, time management, marketing & strategic projects, Information Technology as well as assist in agenda book keeping and travel management.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  1. CEO Support & Assistance
  • Create and Maintain agenda, arrange appointments, provide thoughtful reminders;
  • Handle and filter requests and queries appropriately;
  • Organize travel arrangements over the entire MENA region;
  • Develop in cooperation with CEO an efficient approach to Organization Time management;
  • Identify issues and propose viable solutions;
  • Conduct research and provide background information autonomously;
  • Job offers drafting and advertisement.
     
  1. Internal liaison & Work Coordination
     
  • Act as point of contact between CEO, team members and external contacts;
  • Participate in Organization Policies drafting;
  • Prepare and edit communications;
  • Organize team building events;
  • Enhance internal communication and liaise with every department;
  • Supervise financial reports and projection drafting with accountancy department;
  • Improve administrative work organization.
     
  1. Business Development, Quality Control & Project Management duties:
     
  • Coordinate the development of service proposals, including brochures and booklets for relevant services;
  • Prepare Technical and Financial Offers for all kind of operations;
  • Monitor and validate communications with Clients;
  • Assistance in internal Quality Control processes;
  • Represent CEO while attending meetings with clients and providers;
  • Update procedures-related documents, such as Policies, Operating Procedures and Instructions.

LOCATION OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Malta
  • Potential travels to Countries of Operations.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

  • You are eligible to work in the EU;
  • A first professional experience in a high-paced environment, possibly related to security and/or Risk Management, is an asset but is not mandatory;
  • You are recognized for your writing, communication and inter-personal skills;
  • You have a dynamic, proactive, detailed-oriented and problem-solving personality;
  • You have strong organizational skills and are used to follow at the same time multiple projects even while being under pressure;
  • You are punctual and respect given timeframes;
  • You hold a Master’s Degree in security or any related topic (e.g., International Relations) with a focus on security issues, especially on the MENA region;
  • You have an excellent mastery of English (C2). French, Polish or Arabic language capacity are considered as assets;
  • You have a very strong sense of commitment, you are willing to challenge yourself, and you are used to teamwork and to take responsibilities;
  • You are computer-literate and have an excellent mastery of MS Office suite and Publisher. Other IT skills are considered as assets;
  • Knowledge of North Africa countries is an asset.

CONTRACT: 12-month contract renewable upon performance.

BENEFITS & REMUNERATION

  • Salary 1,000 Euros NET per month;
  • Free accommodation in Malta;
  • Round flight ticket for the assignment period;
  • 3 round flight tickets (available upon probation period termination);
  • 30 days of Paid Leaves.

NOTE: Benefits & Remuneration will be reassessed upon positive performance after 6 months.
