The European Medicines Verification Organisation (EMVO) is the Brussels based organisation responsible for bringing forward the European Medicines Verification System (EMVS).  
 
EMVO was created in 2015 as a joint initiative of EU supply chain stakeholders, representing manufacturers (EAEPC, EFPIA, Medicines for Europe), wholesalers (GIRP), community pharmacists (PGEU) and hospitals (EAHP, HOPE) and is bringing forward the EMVS in accordance with the EU’s Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) and the Delegated Regulation (DR). It ensures the implementation of a functioning, secure, interoperable and cost-effective system across Europe, to ensure patient health and safety. 
 
EMVO is a dynamic, multi-lingual team undergoing a period of growth as we adapt our structure to meet the needs of the Operational Phase of the EMVS. In order to meet these needs, we are seeking a Junior Project Manager to capture the requirements of EMVO’s business and to see that they are translated into the performance of our technical systems.  
 
Our Junior Project Manager
Reporting to EMVO’s Operations Manager, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring that EMVO’s IT suppliers deliver enhancements to EMVO’s technical systems according to our requirements and that these changes are followed through to ensure that software is thoroughly tested. You will ensure that EMVO’s IT suppliers plan their activities to EMVO’s technical systems and follow up on this planning to ensure that delivery schedules are met.  
 
You will organise and execute EMVO acceptance testing in close collaboration with EMVO’s Quality Assurance Department and provide regular progress reports to EMVO’s Operations Manager. In addition to this, you will assist in the handover of technical knowledge to EMVO’s Customer Support Team.

Required skills & competences:   
  • You have experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • You have a first experience as a Project Manager
  • You are familiar with organizing the gathering of user requirements and organizing user acceptance testing 
  • You have experience with delivering software in a controlled environment
  • You are delivery driven
  • You are a team player
  • Equipped with a sense of urgency
  • A Problem solver
  • Ability to work in multinational environment 
  • You have strong verbal & written communications skills
  • You are flexible, proactive and can focus on results.
  • You are fluent in English and at least 1 other European Language 
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical sector/supply chain would be an asset 
  • A level of education which corresponds to a completed bachelor’s attested by a diploma
