Position overview

The Junior Communications and Project Officer will be responsible for a number of daily activities:

  • Carry out tasks related to project implementation, including but not limited to assisting in the organisation of project meetings, interim reporting, maintaining the project plan, updating plans to reflect progress, monitoring progress, and ensuring conformance with deliverables and milestones.
  • Implement marketing strategy to increase visibility and use of project resources and tools
  • Liaise with project partners and service providers
  • Identifying new opportunties 
  • Writing project applications 
  • Identify and follow funding opportunities
  • Regularly update activities database
  • Provide various aministrative support
  • Assisting, managing and creating content for social media
  • Creating and managing content for the EAVI website 

Ideal skills and personality

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Advanced English skills, spoken and written
  • Strong inter-personal skills
  • Experience working with EU projects
  • Good knowledge of working with MS Office 
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of WordPress is desirable
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or graphic design is desirable
  • Team player 

We are a small, dynamic team based in the centre of the European district looking for a fun, dynamic and creative new team member that's eager to try new things and get involed in new experiences!

You will be offered a 6 month CIP contract with the potential to extend.
