Paid INTERNSHIP – Junior Project Manager
Emcnet – www.emcnet.eu – has an opening for one “INTERN” for a period of 3 to 6 months to assist and help with the organisation of the annual EUROFI Conference.
Our client, EUROFI, the Paris-based think tank dedicated to Financial Services in Europe, will host its 2009 Conference on 24 & 25 September 2009 in Göteborg, Sweden, on the eve of the EU Ecofin & Euro Group Meetings.
Job Description:
- Assisting the project director on all aspects of event organisation,
- Co-ordination & communication with the speaker secretariats,
- Co-ordination of the project administration,
- Handling telephone requests from delegates & sponsors, etc..,
- Preparing mailing & communication campaigns,
- Assisting with the onsite delivery of the conference in Göteborg, Sweden.
Profile:
- Be fluent in written and spoken English (essential),
- Have excellent French, other languages is an asset,
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and under pressure,
- Show a flexible and proactive approach to executing tasks,
- Deliver superior quality work and consistently meet project deadlines,
- Be organised, neat and have an eye for details,
- Have a confident & professional telephone manner,
- Have excellent computer skills with very good knowledge of Word and Excel,
- Be a team member,
- Some experience in project management,
- Knowledge of current affairs & EU issues.
The Goal:
By the end of the internship, successful candidates should have acquired sufficient experience qualifying them as a junior project manager.
