Job Description
Marie Stopes International (MSI) is one of the largest international family planning organisations in the world. We are a marketing focused, results oriented social enterprise that develops efficient, effective and sustainable family planning programmes in the UK and 43 countries around the world. Every year MSI provides over six million people with high quality health services.
This internship programme offers you the opportunity to acquire direct practical experience of MSI’s work under the direct supervision of experienced MSI team members. In return for your dedication and hard work, MSI offers the opportunity for you to develop your skills both personally and professionally whilst making a real difference.
As part of our External Relations team, you will work on a variety of exciting projects including drafting and editing funding proposals for submission to donors, writing and editing content for our external website and assisting with the Guardian International Development Competition Awards.
To be eligible for this opportunity, you must already be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree programme and be planning to take a gap year from your studies. The programme will last for 9 months from October 2009 to June 2010. The programme attracts a monthly stipend of £500.
