The Israel Public Policy Institute offers young leaders from Europe an opportunity to participate in a Fellowship program in cooperation with the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) on the theme “Rethinking Security in the 21st Century – German-Israeli perspectives”.

The Fellows program will provide young public policy professionals with an opportunity to work alongside researchers at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv and gather first-hand experience about the major security challenges facing the country.

In the framework of the program, the Fellows will be able to draw on the pool of partners of the IPPI and of the INSS and familiarize themselves with relevant actors in the country. 

The program is intended for young leaders from Germany who are interested in the area of international security and who have already gathered relevant experience in the field.

We are looking for exceptional university graduates that will be integrated into the routine work of the Institute for National Security Studies as well as the Israeli office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation.

Over the course of the program, the selected fellow will be expected to complete the writing of a policy paper pertaining to the theme of the program, namely “Rethinking Security in the 21st Century – German-Israeli Perspectives” in addition to the fulfilllment of routine tasks.

Practical Information:

  • The Fellowship will start between the 1st of July 2018 and the 1st of September 2018 for a duration of 4 months.
  • The remuneration is 750 Euros per month.
