Job Details


  • Work with some of the largest UK trading companies to provide dynamic policy leadership and support to Board and executive level experts
  • Deliver high visibility, impact-led campaigns on strategic policy priorities – G20 implementation, fighting protectionism, ecommerce, access to finance, trade in services, tackling corruption etc..
  • Ensure the UK private sector is well represented and providing high profile input at major international summits, conferences and events
  • Work with the commercial team to coordinate and deliver a busy programme of high impact, revenue generating policy events
  • Work with British business groups worldwide to promote international best practice rules, guides and toolkits
  • Use creative, infographic media to foster evidence-led thought leadership and raise awareness of key world business priorities
  • Manage and coordinate the UK policy team to deliver world class policy services across a wide range of UK/international policy fora
  • Build and strengthen a diverse stakeholder network including international institutions, government, parliament and private sector
  • Generate new business leads and work with the team to increase revenue sales
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining a fun, cohesive team environment

Qualifications and requirements

  • First class verbal and written communication skills with a good attention to detail
  • Ability to process, simplify and communicate complex technical information into plain English
  • Proven campaigns experience – the ability to mobilise companies and stakeholders around critical priorities
  • Experience in the commercial use of Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media platforms for sales and marketing
  • Proven customer and policy service management skills
  • Degree in a relevant subject such as international relations, business, development, law, economics
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience preferably in an international business, business institution or government/international organisation
  • Familiarity with the key stakeholders within the UK business, government and global institutional community
  • Talented and highly motivated individual with a positive, ‘can do’ mindset
