Intern - Public Affairs

Job Description
The intern’s tasks will include:
- Assisting in the monitoring and reporting on EU political and legal developments and policy activities relating to the key priority areas of the CEA including:
- Monitoring key latest developments and next steps in a range of issues
- Assist in the preparation of the weekly EU monitoring updates and monthly EU roadmaps
- Helping maintain reporting systems updated
- Assisting in the research on various issues
- Management and update of the contact database: data-collection, electronic filing and record-keeping of the contact database
- General administration and organisation
- Support to the department in the preparation of the public affairs strategies
- Other day-to-day duties as assigned under supervision of the head of department
Profile
- Proficiency in English. Any other languages desirable.
- Good knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills
- Skills and efficient communicator in a European and multi-cultural environment
- Ability to take initiative and work well under pressure
- Highly developed team spirit
