Intern – IDF Europe
The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) is an umbrella organization of over 200 national diabetes associations in over 160 countries. It represents the interests of the growing number of people with diabetes and those at risk. The Federation has been leading the global diabetes community since 1950. IDF’s mission is to promote diabetes care, prevention and a cure worldwide.

The International Diabetes Federation is divided into seven regions, with the aim of strengthening the work of national diabetes associations and enhancing the collaboration between them. IDF Europe is one of the seven regions of IDF.

The selected person will be based in the IDF Europe Regional Office in Brussels, Belgium and will report directly to the Regional Director of IDF Europe.

Specific Tasks:

• Reviewing IDF Europe Corporate Partners strategy and identifying new fundraising opportunities
• Contributing to on-going projects and studies managed by IDF Europe
• Representing IDF Europe at events and conferences
• Assisting in day-to-day activities
• Desired Skills and Experience:
• An interest in EU institutions
• An interest in health issues

Language:

• Excellent English
• Fluency in other European languages (especially German and French) would be an asset
