The incumbent will work in close contact with the head of the administration of ALDA and the Secretary General as well as other key persons.

The position is based in Vicenza (Italy)

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to recruiting, screening and interviewing ALDA staff 
  • Follow up the introduction and inception phase
  • Monitor the career development of the staff
  • Identify opportunity of growth and capacity building build on regular interviews and assessment
  • Handle employee relations, payroll, benefits and training
  • Identify solutions for covering properly the various activities of ALDA (including funding opportunity for staff training in various countries of activities of ALDA
  • Management and coaching of interns, volunteers and “civic services” in various offices of ALDA
  • Management of the staff meetings of the team, organisation, agenda setting, minutes

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • University degree or a correspondent level of experience
  • Experience in the field of human resources
  • Interest and previous involvement in the civil society sector or a similar relevant area
  • Previous experience in the administration field, related to the staff and contracts management
  • Interested in human relations, in the third and development sectors
  • Proficient level of Engliah and Italian languages. The knowledge of French is an asset
  • Proficient use of Office Suite, internet, email and server
  • Highly motivated, result-driven person
  • High level of responsibility and reactivity
  • Resilient to difficulties
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn quickly
