Job Description
£49,357 - £53,934 per annum (plus contributory pension)
Manchester city centre In this new role at MAG's Head Office in Manchester, the successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to take responsibility for the successful merging, development and motivation of our UK Finance and Support Services teams.
The post-holder will be responsible for providing inspirational leadership within an ambitious and forward thinking organisation. The successful candidate will be a highly adept, fully qualified accountant with a demonstrable track record of success in business and financial management at a senior level, coupled with proven people management skills and excellent communication skills.
With the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders you will ensure effective cost-control across the organisation so that funds are used in the most effective and efficient manner. Though previous experience within the charitable sector is preferred, candidates from the commercial sector, looking for their first charitable role, will also be considered.
All candidates must however demonstrate passion, dedication and energy in order to be the inspirational head of this key department within an international charity. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the post holder will also be a member of the MAG Operational Management Team, and have the opportunity to steer the direction of this international organisation on an operational level.
