Gallup Poll consultants assist leaders to identify and monitor behavioural economic indicators worldwide. Gallup Europe acts as the coordination centre for polling activities in Europe and provides evidence-based policy research and measurement-based strategic advice for all policy areas to policy- and decision-makers.
Gallup Europe works very closely with the European Commission to provide the European Commission's various "Flash Eurobarometers".
The Opportunity
Are you a French and English speaking expert in international public opinion polling? Do you create top-level relationships and influence decision-makers with information, data and consultancy? Do you enjoy pulling together research data and organising numbers and abstract concepts to tell a meaningful story? Do you assume full responsibility from project conception to project delivery? Working closely with the Directors of the Brussels and Budapest offices, you will become a key advisor to our clients in governments, public sector organisations, business leaders and the public.
You will be responsible for establishing and developing relationships at a very senior level on the value of opinion surveys, as well as manage public opinion polling projects from conception to policy recommendations.
Associate Director responsibilities include:
- Working with Directors and associates to develop new opinion research initiatives; writing and budgeting of project proposals
- Collaborating closely with the project team on research delivery and strategies
- Designing survey projects including sample design and questionnaire construction Quantitative data analysis and writing of analytical reports that stems from client public opinion polling
- Communicating and presenting research results to a variety of audiences Building strong relationships with key Gallup partners and clients to provide customised deliverables Establishing new key public, government and business relationships
Qualifications
Requirements: Experience with management of all aspects of public opinion polling projects in an international setting, familiarity with statistical concepts, business fluency in French and English, as well as a strong academic degree are required.
You must be highly skilled at interpreting numbers and have strong analysis skills to convey insightful findings through reports and presentations. You must also be able to work collaboratively with clients and internal partners to implement strategies.
