Job Description

Fleishman-Hillard is searching for a highly motivated intern to join its established Chemicals, Energy and Transport team for a 6-month term starting as soon as possible.

Fleishman-Hillard is one of the world's leading public affairs and communications groups, with over 80 offices located throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and South Africa.

General information:

  • 6-month remunerated stage

The successful candidate will have:

  • Background in Chemicals, Environment or Transport policy.
  • Very good knowledge of EU policymaking process, political parties and the political media.
  • Excellent writing and research skills and networking ability.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of service delivery.
  • Initiative and creativity when it comes to problem-solving.
  • Fluency in English with the ability to work in at least one other EU language.
  • Prior experience in a professional services firm an advantage.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Dynamic and capable of structuring and managing the work independently.
  • Excellent IT skills.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with research and preparing draft reports, mainly related to EU Chemicals, Environment and Transport policy.
  • Daily monitoring of relevant information sources and reporting on key developments.
  • Meeting & event organisation, logistics and follow-up.
  • Providing political intelligence services in support of public affairs programmes.
  • Proactively networking through attending relevant events.
  • Assisting with production of new business proposals.
