Financial services reporter
A fast paced global newswire is seeking a regulatory reporter to monitor and report on policy and legislation developments in financial services sector.

This role would suit an experienced regulatory reporter or an outgoing person with background in financial services – someone with sound knowledge of sector regulatory processes and an established network in Brussels. The right candidate will be able to grasp complex concepts quickly and have an excellent eye for detail and be a persistent reporter. The person will be expected to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how policy developments may influence business. The candidate will also be a team player as the position entails regular liaising with other journalists around the globe.

This role will be based in Brussels and/or London. The right candidate will have an opportunity to travel to international conferences, and work with our teams in Brussels, London, Hong Kong, Washington and Shanghai.

This role will involve:

• Breaking news on policy developments in financial services sector
• Writing detailed analysis of regulatory processes in the sector to keep readers abreast of legislative threats and opportunities
• Developing policy intelligence tailor-made for readers with particular interest in the sector
