Job description

The consultant will be in our Brussels office. The role will focus mainly on trade associations and corporate clients in the digital sector.

Essential job functions

  • Lead the work for key digital client accounts
  • Follow debates in the main European institutions
  • Prepare regular news reports and political analysis
  • Coordinate the organisation of meetings and events
  • Attend conferences, seminars, hearings
  • Research on various issues, as needed
  • Writing summaries or short reports
  • Follow the daily news

Your profile

  • You have one to three years of experience in EU public affairs
  • You look back on a first experience in an EU institution or already have experience in a consultancy or trade association
  • You are interested in being on top of policy issues in fast-moving sector
  • You are fluent in English and at least one other EU language
  • You hold a university or university-level degree
  • You have a sound knowledge of the EU institutions
  • You want to work in a dynamic multi-national team of consultants
  • You are flexible and can handle multiple tasks independently
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Modalities

  • The role will ideally start in early February 2018
  • The office working languages are English, Dutch and French
