Vacancy: Account and Project Manager

Vision Communication is a small SME family-owned company (team of 5 - 7 people), that manages communication strategies and content production (video, photo, web, design, events) for its Spanish and international clients. We need a communication manager to perform these duties:

EU project communication (50%)

  • Support the Director in the daily overall management and coordination of company's
  • Daily management and administration of the communication and dissemination WP an EU H2020 project. The tasks will include:
  • Supporting the consortium with the communication tasks (internal communication, website creation and maintenance, production of printed material, maintenance of social networks, production of videos and interviews, participation to international events, etc.)
  • Writing of deliverables and technical reports related to the communication, dissemination and training tasks
  • Organisation of trainings in Tunisia
  • Supervision of the project's administrative and financial tasks
  • Writing of proposals for other EU funded projects covering both the content related to the company's role within the project and elaboration of the budget
  • Identification and analysis of opportunities to join new consortia;

Communication, Events and Video Production (50%)

  • Video production expertise (strong asset)
  • Lead the production coordination for video, photography, graphic design & website
  • Preparation of internal budget and writing of offers for audio-visual services for clients;
  • Support of the overall development, management and coordination of communication campaigns to the satisfaction of the client (including script writing);
  • Support of the client to disseminate the produced material to external audiences; · Coordination of the Art department as regards the production for video, photography, graphic design & websites;
  • Preparation of filming plans for events and coordination of the filming on site;
  • Management of the company's social media accounts;
  • Monitoring of new business opportunities for the company (Tenders, calls, etc.).

Office Management

  • Ensure a smooth, efficient and effective day-to-day operation
  • Prepare reports and factsheets (finance and content);
  • Represent the company at operational level vis-a-vis international customers, including European and International Institutions;

Skills and Experience required

  • Degree in marketing / communication of EU projects, or similar
  • Experience in managing the communication and dissemination tasks of EU funded projects;
  • Knowledge of EU funding programmes ( particularly H2020, to know others is an asset: EuropeAid, SME Instrument, AMIF, etc.);
  • Knowledge of H2020 financial and administrative rules
  • Interest in research innovation, environmental issues and other societal challenges is an asset
  • Experience in Audiovisual Production (strong asset);
  • High English & Spanish level - to be native speaker in both languages is an asset; · Working knowledge of French is an asset;
  • Proven ability to work and lead independently and under pressure;
  • Proven skills in assessing needs, planning, prioritising, multitasking;
  • Business oriented and strong client relationship skills;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Knowledge of the Adobe package is an asset

Conditions:

  • 2 years temporary contract of 40 working hours/week. With the option of moving to an indefinite contract upon termination of the temporary contract.
  • Workplace in Barcelona. Availability to travel.
  • remuneration based on experience
