Job description: The INRA is looking for motivated scientist to undertake and deliver strategy-relevant research linking research infrastructures (RIs) in environmental domains and economics to support the industry policies at the intersection of environemental sustainable developement. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Examine the full range of policy options towards stakeholders (economics) and consultation group feedbacks on research RIs performance taking into account direct and indirect effects on innovation,
  • Develop and draft synthetic report (including scientific papers) on best practices of linking RIs and societal need, economics and policy for consideration by senior policy makers in the area of environmental sustainable development, 
  • Participe in and contribute to other activities on the project (projection, access to RIs, analysis of the market...) as required, 
  • Present results at meetings, take an active part in the discussions and carry out subsequent revisions which often require follow-up bilalteral discussions with the project coordination and theme leader

Desired Skills and experince

  • Adavanced university dedree/Master or PhD in enviromental economics, industrial policies, or related field, 
  • 1-2+ years experince, 
  • Strong understunding and an analytical approach to the environmental, economic and policy issues relevant to the industrial operations, including the oveall political and economic context, implimentation challenges and the current reserch landscape, 
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, convincing and  well-structured reports. Demonstrated experience of tailoring wirtten work to the respective needs of the specialist and non-specialist audiences,
  • Excellent knowledge of english,

Contract duration 

  • 24 months fixed term appointement  

Salarry 

  • The net salary will be based on professional experience and skillsets.
