Job Description
The South West UK Brussels Office is supported by a partnership of key public sector organisations within the region and gives the South West a unified voice in Brussels.
Strong leadership and highly tuned political skills for regional and local decision-making will enable you to create synergies and trigger collaboration within the Partnership, as well as to maintain and enhance an effective network of high-level contacts in Brussels for the benefit of Partners. Your leadership capability must be backed with a first class knowledge of EU affairs, combined with substantial experience of making things happen in this area. A dynamic strategic thinker, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability for staff management is essential.
Salary range: £68,799 - £74,397
Closing date: 13 November 2009
Interview dates: 30 November and 1 December - probably in Brussels
