Digital Demand – D2© is a Big Data company that provides analytic insights and intelligence about Countries, Regions and Cities, and we are currently seeking to recruit an intern to join our office in Madrid, Spain, as a Digital Demand Manager.  
The Digital Demand Manager should be a master student (or graduated) in Economics or Business; Business Intelligence, Big Data Analytics or Computer Science preferred.

Job Description

The tasks of the Digital Demand Manager may include:

  • Gathering, collecting, analysing, and reporting different types of data. 
  • Conducting research, which will include consulting external sources, elaborating surveys, reviewing publications and browsing the Internet for data sources.
  • Quality control of big data analyses. 
  • Setting up macro programming in Excel. 
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Working with SQL and providing a technical support to the internal projects. 
  • Leading complex internal and external projects with team sizes ranging from 2-10 people. 
  • Facilitating project meetings and communicating ongoing project statuses to the top management.
  • Master in Economics or Business; Business Intelligence, Big Data Analytics or Computer Science preferred.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and give attention to detail.
  • Experience with SQL, dashboards and data visualization.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading and writing in English.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, as well as strong leadership and team management skills.
Preferred qualifications
  • Accountability, proactivity, good communication skills, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work with little supervision in a very dynamic and deadline-sensitive work environment
  • Knowledge of VBA, or other programming language will be considered as an advantage.
