Job Description

The Consultant will be responsible for managing client relationships and serving as primary day-to-day contact for Weber Shandwick’s Brussels’ Health Policy clients under the supervision of a Director. The Consultant will provide solid Public Affairs counsel on tactical matters to the Health Policy clients and will support the Director and management of the Health Policy team in planning and implementing comprehensive advocacy and communication campaigns and relevant business development initiatives.
 
Requirements:
· You have a universitye degree with 3 – 5 years of relevant professional experience in European affairs and communications (agency and consulting experience preferred).
· A sound understanding of the Health Policy sector, its dynamics and the policy issues of relevance to the sector.
· A solid understanding of the European institutions and the EU policy and decision-making processes.
· A well-developed network of contacts in the Pharma industry, the EU institutions, NGO’s and the Trade Associations.
· A sound understanding of working with the media.
· Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent written and spoken English and fluency in at least one other European language.
· Strong commercial and presentation skills.
