Position summary
The Communications Officer for EU Projects is in charge of managing communications activities under EU-funded projects.

Main duties:

  • Act as the contact point on behalf of the organisation within the project consortium and the internal project team members
  • Draft articles, reports, presentations, and other communications material
  • Manage, design, edit and print processes for publications
  • Development and organisation of project related events
  • Coordinate and actively participate in meetings and events
  • Reporting on project meetings and relevant workshops
  • Manage and update websites, social media, databases, and mailing lists
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed

Requirements and competencies:

  • A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in an consultancy or EU association working with EU-funded projects preferably in energy / environment areas
  • Knowledge of EU funding programmes (such as Horizon 2020 and Connecting Europe Facility…), Grants and Procurement notices (service contracts) and some experience within project management and implementation
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Social Media. Familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop and Canva
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. German or French is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and effectively prioritise workload
  • University or advanced degree
  • Availability to travel within Europe in the framework of project activities
