Polydea is offering a four-month internship with intention of offering full-time employment post-internship.
Polydea is a 360° Communications Agency based in Brussels, Belgium. We focus on bespoke and creative communications campaigns for a large range of clients, from multi-million dollar companies to French political parties.
We are looking for a Communications Intern to work on various projects, such as drafting communication strategies and managing client relations. If the intern competently contributes to the company, and more importantly if they enjoy the work, Polydea will look to employ them on a competitive fixed-term full-time contract.
Interviews will be offered on a rolling basis.
The daily tasks vary greatly depending on our clients and their needs, we are looking for someone dynamic and resourceful, who can take on new tasks. These will include but are not limited to:
  • Community management, analytics and social media monitoring
  • Drafting communications strategies
  • Stakeholder and audience research
  • Media monitoring and identification of prospective clients
  • Developing long-term projects 
  • Organising events and initiatives
  • Supplier benchmarking 
  • Assisting in the day-to-day organisation of the agency
As a creative agency, we are primarily looking for creativity and enthusiasm from a candidate as we will provide training for many of the agencies tasks. 
Essential Criteria:
  • Perfect English, both written and oral
  • Good French, full working competency 
  • Demonstrate creativity and flexibility
  • Be studying or have experience in communications, business, political science, international relations, journalism or a comparable subject
  • Have strong organisational skills 
  • Be a good communicator, able to explain ideas and concepts clearly
  • A sound knowledge of the current social media landscape
  • Be able to work to short deadlines and on several projects simultaneously
  • Work well independently
  • Tech-savvy
  • Good knowledge of other European languages is favourable.
  • Experience with a CMS such as Wordpress
  • Good understanding of European and international politics
  • An understanding of Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator
