Job Description
Mission
ESN is seeking a high-level, high-energy, German-speaking professional with at least three years’ experience in managing communication projects. The mission includes the following:
- Managing large projects (from early interaction with clients, partners and subcontractors involved in a CD-project – including, specifically, contact with partners in Germany), a film festival, photo book and travelling exhibition, and graphic identity;
- Contributing to the drafting of project concepts, information material, meeting minutes, speaking points, etc.;
- Coordinating with clients within various European Commission DGs, and others;
- Preparing and following up on meetings;
- Translating (German to English) and summarising documents related in particular to the 20th anniversary and to the EP elections;
- Responsibility for project analysis and planning, and allocating resources;
- Providing excellent customer service.
Profile
- Strong knowledge of project management techniques and procedures;
- Significant experience in communication project management;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent customer and team-management skills;
- Efficient and productive under pressure;
- Fluent in German, French and English;
- A good knowledge of another EU language is an asset;
- Knowledge of European Institutions and policies is an asset;
- Advanced user of desktop software and internet;
- Education: European and/or communication studies.
