• Reporting to the programme Director, you will contribute to the implementation of the overall communication strategy by ensuring good content and alignment of messages and take in charge several projects such as the preparation of our industry for the International Year of Chemistry, in 2011, as well as more general support to Cefic’s Corporate communication activities.
• Capable to analyse complex issues, you will communicate with experts and non-experts to clarify positions and approaches.
• You will conceive, create and deliver state-of-the-art design, content and production in excellent English of articles, statements, Q&As, position papers, speeches, presentations and similar written, web-based or audio-visual communication tools relevant for different audiences.
• Through your good relational skills and sense of diplomacy, you will ensure effective collaboration with related bodies and national associations and work in good synergy with other experts and communicators from Cefic, chemical companies and national associations.

• With a university degree, you have a strong interest for sciences and industry.
• You have at least three to five years experience in a similar position within a company, consultancy office or association. 
• You are passionate to transform technical matters in easy-to-read materials. Your spoken and written skills in English are excellent and you are fluent in at least another European language.
• An operational knowledge of web content management systems and related Internet tools
• is key.
•  You are a well-organised and proactive communication professional capable to manage projects, to animate discussions and to cope with pressure.
