Who are we?

Ukrainian Transatlantic Platform is a first youth NGO dedicated to Transatlantic unity. We are passionate about the idea to build a community of young Transatlantic supporters in Ukraine and grant them access to new opportunities unseen before. We strive to develop sustainable connections with professionals and activists from different spheres at the same time increasing mutual rapprochement between Ukraine and the Alliance. Our focus is on Ukraine, the EU and USA foreign policy and policies related to conflict, migration, governance, conflict resolution, and peace-building processes. 

What will you be doing?

You will:

  • Support some of our programme teams and advise them on communications.
  • Create infographics, videos and animations.
  • Help us manage our social media accounts.
  • Edit blogs and write for our monthly newsletter.
  • Update Transatlantic Blog.
  • Analyse our communications statistics.
  • Help us organise and communicate about UTP events.
  • Help us improve our communications across the board.

You are part of the communications team and will report to the head of communications. 

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has a degree in communications, journalism, public or international relations.
  • Has a passion in the area of communications.
  • Is an excellent English speaker, writer and editor.
  • Has experience with social media management and knows how to work with content management systems.
  • Is experienced in multimedia production in Adobe’s Creative Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Illustrator and After Effects).
  • Knows how to translate research and analysis into accessible language and formats.
  • Is interested in international cooperation and likes to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
  • Is creative, flexible and proactive, and pays attention to details.

  • A part-time contract. Please notice, that this is a volunteer position.
