Communication Junior Adviser – Partnership department
Orgalim – Europe’s Technology Industries – is looking for a Communication Junior adviser to join our dynamic Partnership team and support our mission to shape a future that’s good. 
Who we are
We are a team of over 30 people - 14 nationalities - representing the interests Europe’s technology industries: innovative companies spanning the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics, and metal technology branches. We are working with policymakers and stakeholders to strengthen our industries’ growth and global leadership, to maximise their contribution to Europe’s economy and society, and to foster a new relationship of trust between businesses and citizens.
The Partnership team
The Partnership team brings together 12 dedicated multidisciplinary professionals offering tailored services to over 20 European sector associations in the technology industries.
Job brief
The Communication Junior Adviser’s job will consist in supporting ESMIG, the association representing the European smart energy solution providers, and other client sector associations serviced by the Partnership. This role requires to be an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, and to have demonstrated work experience, notably in social media and events.
Responsibilities include:
  • Implement communications projects and strategies
  • Manage meetings and events organisation
  • Supervise the production of materials and communications content
Your tasks
  • Help devise and be responsible for implementing communications strategies
  • Manage effective internal communications
  • Supervise internally and externally the production of communications content (e.g. press releases, publications, social media posts)
  • Coordinate the activities of appointed working groups
  • Support the preparation and deployment of events
  • Draft web content and devise social media strategies
  • Prepare presentations and reports
  • Maintain templates and visual libraries
Your skills 
  • Very high proficiency in English; good knowledge of other European languages is a plus
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal skills: assertive, responsive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-oriented
  • Teamwork / team player
  • Basic financial and budgeting skills
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign) and content management systems is a plus
