An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Support Adviser join one of the UK’s foremost business support organisations. Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is a funded service designed to help you expand your horizons, grow and scale your business and succeed overseas. EEN offers a local route to free, tailored support and advice that can help your business innovate and grow internationally.

To support this service our Company is looking to recruit an EEN Client Support Adviser to work closely with SMEs and the EEN Management and Adviser teams, to support the delivery of the EEN COSME and H2020 contracts, and provide efficient and accurate project and administrative support, helping to ensure the team’s successful delivery of impact for its customers and stakeholders. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the first point of contact for SMEs and advisers for EEN project related enquiries;
  • Handle CRM data entry for new clients, events booking registrations, and quality management of existing data;
  • Provide event organisation support and ensure smooth running of events on the day;
  • Support advisers in the follow up of partnering activities;
  • Process new registrations;
  • Monitor the participation of regional clients in EEN brokerage events to identify clients from the East of England and introduce them to EEN support;
  • Maintain and monitor the team’s records of progress towards contractual outputs and help to produce monthly report and management information;
  • Support advisers in the completion of client questionnaires;
  • Organise the programme of internal team meetings;
  • Support administrative activities (timesheets, overseas travel arrangements, expense claim records, etc.);
  • Carry out other duties identified by members of the EEN management team.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably with SMEs, and experience of project working, ideally in a similar funded role. Experience working within a service or business support organisation is desirable. You will have knowledge of the current business support landscape and general experience of working with monitoring and project management systems. You will be proficient in handling data, working with databases and maintaining accurate information on systems.

You will be client-focused with excellent attention to detail. You will be a team player and self-starter, excited about working against challenging targets and timeframes, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, partners and colleagues. A full UK driving licence and access to a car is highly desirable, as the position will require occasional travel in the East of England region.
