EAVI, the European Association for Viewers Interests, is a small and exciting non-profit organisation promoting the interests of citizens as media users, through various projects and initiatives across Europe.

We are looking for a new Intern interested in the fields of media (literacy) and citizenship values to assist us in different communication related works. There is an opportunity to gain skills and experience in different areas as we often share and assist each other with tasks.

  • Maintain actively content and interactions on EAVI’s Social media (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn);
  • Website update and maintenance (wordpress);
  • Design and sending out newsletter (mailchimp); and
  • Layout, graphic production and editing (infographics, videos, flyers and so on).


  • Be familiar with disinformation phenomena and be media literate;
  • Highly computer literate; familiar with web content management and social media;
  • Capable of elements of design, editing tools and publishing software.
  • Excellent spoken and written English; and
  • Strongly passionated to contribute to pursue EAVI’s values;

Conditions & Application:

The intern should be able to start as soon as possible. The traineeship is for six months (renewable). The intern will receive minimum 800 net euro/month under the CIP – Contract Immersion Professionel. Before applying, we encourage applicants to read EAVI’s brochure, excerpts from EAVI’s studies and our initiatives in order to familiarize with concepts related to our activities. An understanding of media literacy related activities is considered a plus. The experience and the letter of motivation of the candidate should show care for the topics EAVI is involved with. Also send us your CV to with the heading ‘CIP Communication’ before the 24th March.
