Job Description
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and analysis of EU environmental policy developments affecting the food and drink industries;
Management of industry expert groups; preparation of policy positions;
Supporting the sector’s engagement with the EU institutions, international organisations and other stakeholders;
Profile:
University degree in the field of EU politics, law or environmental sciences;
Excellent understanding of the EU policy making process, including a good understanding of EU environmental policies affecting the food sector;
A minimum of 2 years work experience in a trade federation, company, EU institution, international organisation, consultancy or comparable institution; work experience in the food chain context is an advantage;
Basic knowledge of environmental assessment methodologies is an asset;
Excellent communications and networking skills in an international multi-stakeholder context;
Excellent command of English (written, spoken) is a must;
French is an asset.
