The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is a new C-level position within our Organisation and it is a cross-functional catalyst transversal to the key activity areas that drive innovation for best growth-based results. The CGO would be responsible for the development and implementation of INL´s global marketing and sales strategy in order to build a wide customer portfolio, and establish a faster and effective connection with the market by articulating and addressing innovative solutions for a diverse range of specialized industry sectors and customers.

The CGO will perform across key areas that drive growth, including marketing, sales, research & development, finance and others, to create and implement a long-term vision and enterprise-wide execution of growth-generating strategies. This role is meant to seek and challenge how things are typically done in the business, alter corporate culture and drive innovation for best growth-based results.
This role is crucial for the ambition of the Organisation and will support INL in expanding business activities, creating opportunities to become a worldwide leader and provider of compounded integrated knowledge, establishing a faster and effective connection with the market by articulating and addressing innovative solutions for a diverse range of industries and customers.
The position demands an experienced, focused, creative and influential leadership. This position also maintains the ethical compass of business activities consistent with the status of INL, as an integrity-based and trusted Organisation.
The CGO position reports to the Director General and serves as a member of the Senior Executive Team.
Job Role & Key Responsibilities
The CGO will undertake the following main activities and responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all marketing activities originate from a specific value proposition, analysing competitive research markets and customer feedback data, industry trends and information to identify, develop and implement standards, marketable product categories and business opportunities, that hold potential from a business development perspective;
  • Manage the commercial P&L, providing assumptions for budget discussions and consistently meet revenue targets and profitability.
  • Execute sales plans and programs to ensure that goals for growth and expansion of INL products and services are met.
  • Oversee product development in terms of design execution, and operational sequencing of products from concept to customer, and all product development activities.
  • Liaise efficiently with the internal organisation, synchronizing activities on a cross-functional basis, to ensure that all opportunities are correctly identified, prioritised and aligned with internal workability and external expectations;
  • Analyse and develop business plans and their impact, identify the set of business goals, objectives, target market information, financial forecast projections and profitability of products and services;
  • Oversee the creation of all key marketing activities to enhance INL’s market position, providing overall leadership to market positioning;
  • Represent the Organisation through key client visits, presentations, and industry events to promote INL’s goals;
  • Demonstrate personal conduct in keeping with INL’s reputation of “excellence,” ensuring INL’s integrity, trust and reputation in the marketplace with key stakeholders and internal staff.
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressively high-level managerial experience, at executive direction roles, with a focus on international business development;
  • Strong links to industry sectors and very deep and meaningful international network, namely at business and institutional level;
  • Proven experience leading the growth and launch of multiple product lines or business development strategies in an entrepreneurial environment achieving demonstrated market success;
  • Demonstrated success unifying and aligning multiple, unique, yet related products or service lines under a corporate brand, advancing the value and marketability of such a branded suite of solutions or services;
  • Ability to move and inspire people to act through an articulated vision and direction;
  • Proven ability to effectively lead cross -functional teams and build processes to deliver results;
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in developing and executing appropriate and effective sales and marketing presentations tailored to a variety of audiences.

  • Open leadership style to a collaborative thinking and problem-solving with others in the organization;
  • Creative, innovative, and “out-of-the-box” thinking skills;
  • Proven skills in interpersonal relationship, influence, perseverance and negotiation.
  • English is the working language of INL. Upper advance level in oral and written English is required.
  • Working knowledge of another language is an advantage.
