The Role & Your Responsibilities

The Business Development Officer is one of a team of three positions within the Business Development Group responsible for supporting the RMIT Europe’s Business Development plan. The responsibilities of the position cover a broad range of business development activities including industry engagement, marketing, events, CRM systems, and specific administrative and research support to the Business Development Associate. The position will have a focus on Urban Futures and will develop and maintain relationships with colleagues across RMIT to add value to our partners through: student exchanges, internships, international experiences as well as research and innovation project numbers and revenue.

As the ideal applicant you will have extensive experience in providing high level administrative and project skills, including the ability to monitor and evaluate workload to meet the needs and demands in a complex environment. You will also have excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people from a range of cultural backgrounds. Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice and to drive creative solutions through to implementation within the immediate work area will be imperative to your success in this role. High level proficiency in English and another European language (preferred). The ability to work in Spain is essential.
