The European Association of Chemical Distributors – Fecc ( [1]) – is THE European voice for the Chemical Distribution Industry, represents around 1,600 enterprises, of which 850 are chemical distributors.

The Fecc is now seeking applicants for the position of Business Development Officer.


  • Monitor and analysis of the new developments and the EU legislations in the area of international trade policy, geopolitical risks, economic outlook, industrial policy, digitalisation and corporate law. 
  • Provide information and assistance to members on the implementation and compliance relating to these issues.
  • Support the work of relevant Fecc Technical Committees.
  • Develop the membership base.
  • Maintain contact with the relevant European authorities, as well as with other stakeholders, to actively participate in the discussions on issues related to chemical distribution industry.
  • The position includes occasional traveling within the EU.

Background and experience:

  • University graduate in the field of economics, finances and/or marketing.
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • Previous working experience within an association is an asset.

Skills & competencies:

  • Knowledge of the chemical or the distribution industry.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English, any other languages are an asset.

Remuneration package:

  • Monthly gross salary in the range € 3.500 - € 4.000 (depending on experience).

  • Group insurance.
