B&S Europe, BUSINESS & STRATEGIES IN EUROPE S.A., is an international consulting firm based in Brussels since 1991 and member of the GOPA Group. Our company provides advice for technical assistance projects in developing and transition countries, particularly to Public and Governmental Institutions. Our main fields of expertise are Institutional Reform and Capacity Building, in areas such as Justice and Home Affairs, Regional and Local Development and Security and Good Governance (including support to civil society, elections, democracy, decentralization processes, etc.).

B&S Europe has managed projects in more than 100 countries worldwide and has a long standing involvement with clients, including international donor agencies, particularly with the European Commission, national governments and their agencies.

B&S has also permanent offices in Brussels, Beirut, Pristina and Bucharest, and representatives offices in more than 10 countries. The company employs more than 40 full time staff and relies on a trustworthy and well experienced network of in-house and external experts to carry out the implementation of projects

Job purpose

Support the department in all tasks related to acquisition and management of projects through proactive attitude, commitment and engagement to the company values.


Assist the Events Department in daily tasks in bid management including:

  • Searching for experts through the B&S Europe database and/or local partners to participate in projects;
  • Updating and improving IT system, database

Assist the Project Manager in daily tasks in project management including:

  • Overall administrative assistance to follow up the Events Department activities
  • Support to the management of projects: monitoring of the activities, administrative management (process invoices, follow-up with the providers, etc.)
  • Assist in the financial management through the proficient use of the internal finanial software
  • Assist in preparing and getting done audit files for expenditure verification processes
  • Ensure a proper storage of documentation
  • Creation of database

Qualifications and profile

  • Recent graduate or advanced student
  • Proved interest in the cooperation and development field
  • Ability to interact with people and establish good relationships
  • Perfect oral and drafting skills in English and French; any other language may be considered as an asset
  • Capacity to work within a team
  • Capacity for independent decision-making and taking initiatives
  • Proven organizational skills; capacity to communicate on processes
  • Computer skills MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Internet, and database
  • Dynamic, good capacity of relationship and interaction with people, high level of commitment and integrity


This is a full time position for a period of 6 months in Brussels with a monthly gross remuneration of 2000 euros and with a possibility of extension after the end of the contract according to performance.
