We are now recruiting for a talented and hard-working Account Manager for our Brussels office to join a team that is determined to raise the standard in health policy and communications with every project we deliver. 

As an Account Manager at Incisive Health Brussels, you will be exposed to many different aspects of specialist health consultancy.

The core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of client accounts
  • Implementing client programmes, working under the direction of the client team lead and with the support of the wider client team 

  • Keeping abreast of major policy and political developments through news and political feed monitoring and providing rapid alerts to client teams 

  • Ensuring that work is delivered to a high degree of accuracy 
  • Making recommendations to client team leads for programme expansion 
  • Undertaking background research to inform new business pitches and supporting the development of materials for new business purposes 

  • Participating in new business pitches, as appropriate 

  • Networking in policy and political fields to develop contacts and capture business intelligence
  • Supporting the development of marketing events and/or materials 

  • Helping the business maintain an active social media presence through twitter and blogging

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in public affairs, health policy, consultancy and/or in the European institutions.

He/she will be able to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of health policy and sound understanding of EU policy and decision-making processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one more EU language
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Strong project management skills: be able to balance competing demands, manage a portfolio of clients and multiple projects, and meet client expectations
  • Eager, productive and positive attitude
  • A go-getter who wants to learn and contribute to a fast-growing and dynamic agency
  • Right to legally work in Belgium
