EUROMOT - the European Association of Internal Combustion Engine Manufacturers - is a membership association.
Established in 1991, our primary focus has been communicating the assets of internal combustion (IC) engine power to regulators worldwide. We provide reliable know-how on advanced engine technologies in general and on environmentally efficient and cost-effective product regulations. We partner with other associations and institutions around the world to develop the right regulation for the local or global environment while sustaining liveability, mobility and economic growth in modern transboundary societies.
Our membership includes all major manufacturers of internal combustion (IC) engines in Europe and the World, spark ignition and compression ignition, representing 85% of the EU market. Our members employ approximately 200,000 highly skilled and motivated men and women all over the world. The European market turnover for the business represented exceeds 25 billion Euros.
EUROMOT is a European Interest Representative. You will find our profile in the EU Transparency Register under the identification number 6284937371-73. In addition, we have been granted observer status in UN IMO (International Maritime Organization - London) and UN ECE (Economic Commission for Europe - Geneva) activities.
